Up to 4 moms per hour
momstrong small group training: where personal training meets community.
This unique program combines the best of private training and a group setting. You’ll share the hour—and my coaching—with up to four other moms, giving you the benefit of personalized programming while training alongside a supportive group. Each participant follows their own programming tailored to their specific goals, all with expert guidance to ensure you’re progressing safely and effectively.
Plus, you can bring your baby along, so you can focus on your fitness without worrying about child care. Beyond the workout, you’ll gain community and connection, training alongside other moms who get it—because postpartum fitness is better when you don’t have to do it alone.

Hey I’m Sam, The founder of THE MOM MOVEMNT
Hi, I’m Sam —a pre/postnatal personal trainer, CrossFit coach, and registered nutritionist with over 10 years of experience in the wellness industry. I’ve dedicated the last couple years of my career to helping moms train safely and effectively through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond—because I know firsthand that motherhood changes everything, including how we move, fuel, and rebuild strength.
With certifications in pre/postnatal fitness, strength and conditioning, and nutrition, I take an evidence-based approach to postpartum recovery and athletic performance. My coaching isn’t about "bouncing back"—it’s about building a strong, functional body that supports you for life. I’ve worked with hundreds of moms to help them heal core and pelvic floor dysfunction, regain strength, and return to CrossFit, Olympic lifting, and other high-intensity training the right way.
Why trust me? Because I prioritize science, safety, and real results over outdated fitness myths. I know what happens when moms are told to "just do some kegels" or "listen to your body" without real guidance—too often, they end up in pain, frustrated, or worse, dealing with long-term dysfunction. That’s why I’m here: to educate, empower, and coach you through a progressive approach that actually works.
I also run Babies & Barbells, a sold-out group fitness class, and have created comprehensive postpartum guides and programs to help women regain strength, improve function, and fuel their bodies properly. With me, you’ll get expert coaching, a proven system for postpartum recovery, and a supportive community that gets it—because strong moms raise strong families.

No, you don’t need to form your own group! Each session is open to moms who sign up individually, and I’ll pair you with a small group of up to four participants. This way, you still get personalized coaching and a tailored program while benefiting from the accountability, motivation, and connection that comes from training alongside other moms on a similar journey. If you do have a friend or two you’d love to train with, you’re absolutely welcome to sign up together!

Yes! Moms with mobile babies are absolutely welcome. Many little ones love exploring while you train, and the small-group setting helps create a supportive, flexible environment. While you’re responsible for keeping an eye on your little one, there’s plenty of understanding (and likely a few other busy babies too!). If needed, you can always pause to tend to them—because we all know workouts with kids aren’t always uninterrupted!

Booking your sessions is simple! No problem—just make changes within the system based on availability!
